John Galliano's collection for Christian Dior was presented on 3 October 2006 to the usual floor of celebrities in the sombre décor of the large planks of whitened wood in the Grand Palais. John Gallaino takes us by surprise as per usual, but this time with the sombreness of his collection and with his savoir faire of the cut. Numerous, classic Dior grey, tweed suits open the catwalk, all worked in different ways, and a number of small cocktail and evening dresses are twisted and draped à la Galliano. His appearance on the podium was representative of his collection : dignified and elegant! |
